Store Manager – Auto Parts Sales

B&M Parts and More (CARQUEST) is growing and looking for a strong Store Manager / Parts Sales Leader to help lead our parts department and continue building relationships with local repair shops and customers.

We are a locally owned business with a strong reputation, a large customer base, and a modern 55,000 sq. ft. automotive facility. Our parts store works directly with our repair shop, collision center, and outside wholesale customers, creating steady demand and growth.

To facilitate and expedite the auto repair process while preserving pride, integrity, and craftsmanship for our customers and employees.

What You'll Do:
  • Lead daily operations of the parts counter and sales team.
  • Assist retail and wholesale customers in finding the correct parts quickly and accurately.
  • Build strong relationships with repair shops and repeat customers.
  • Provide quotes and parts lookup using catalog systems.
  • Manage inventory, receiving, stocking, and organization.
  • Track incoming and outgoing parts orders.
  • Source parts from vendors when needed.
  • Follow up on special orders and backordered items.
  • Prepare orders for pickup, delivery, or shop use.
  • Support daily store operations and help grow sales.
  • Maintain a professional and organized parts department.

Work Experience:
  • 2+ years automotive parts or related industry experience preferred.
  •  Management or leadership experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements:
  • Standing and walking for extended periods.
  • Bending, lifting, and stocking parts.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs when needed.
